The lost art of Yorkshire pudding making
There's no getting around it. Sunday roast is hard work. You get sweaty, irritable and cry a lot. Then switch off the Hollyoaks omnibus and start peeling spuds.
Here are some puds I prepared on Sunday. All you need is flour, water and a few eggs, mix into a smooth batter, and finally pour them into the moulds filled with (this is the important bit) very hot oil. This makes them instantly puff up around the edges.
Not an Aunt Bessie in sight!
I've done a little detective work and tracked her down to explain her crime of convenience. Granny x
